SANTA’S NEWCASTLE VOLUNTEERS HELPING THOSE IN NEED

Santa’s volunteers are busily at work in Newcastle, with this year’s Combined Charities Christmas Warehouse now up and running.

Wesley Mission, Samaritans and the Salvation Army coordinate the initiative, which offers families in need the opportunity to chose their own gifts.

While it may look like there is plenty on offer, supplies need to be doubled, with 3000 children registered for toys.

66 people are registered to visit the warehouse every day.

Donations of gifts can be made through giving trees throughout the region or by contacting the charities directly.

Giving Trees are located at branches of Newcastle Permanent and The Greater, Wests Lambton, Mayfield and Nelson Bay, Kmart Wishing Trees, Stockland Greenhills and Curves Greenhills.
