70% of Hall’s drawing appears to be blacked out, as if the artist suffered fatigue and a black cloud overcame him. A bit of a joke to have included this into a formal drawing competition, and it’s definitely not worthy of any 1st prize in a major art competition. It is precisely because of the highly subjective selection by one or two judges that I haven’t bothered to enter my drawings into these comps. The judges should be a panel of no less than 5 members of sound mind, and at minimum having attained a Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts. L.
