The Joint Regional Planning Pannel has approved Gunnedah Shire Council’s plans to redevelop its town pool at a cost of nearly $8 million.
Designs for the two-stage project will now be finalised and put out for tender.
“Because of the change over, council change over period with the election coming up in September, council won’t be able to adopt any tender until probably October.”
The work includes the construction of a brand new eight lane, 50 metre pool and a kids wet play area.
