Central coast teams claimed impressive victories in today’s finals of the annual Manning Mug water polo tournament in Wingham.
In the men’s, the University of New England side put up a good fight, but weren’t good enough for the Wyong Water Rats who won 10 points to six.
While the Coasties – a combined Central Coast side – took down the Blue Mountains in the women’s, with an 8-4 goal win.
After three decades, the event still attracts strong competition – this year’s meet saw 10 teams from across the state fight for glory.
