Richmond Valley Council is offering a free kerbside collection service for Woodburn and storm affected areas in Evans Head and Broadwater.
The job is expected to take a couple of days and will begin Monday morning.
Council is also urging storm victims in need of personal assistance to contact the disaster welfare assistance line.
