There’s just three days until Forster’s inaugural Dragon Boat Regatta gets underway.
This year its attracted competitors from Nambucca right through to Newcastle.
Four teams will compete in Saturday’s two-kilometre race, while 15 have signed up for the main race day on Sunday.
The crews of 20 will be relying on their paddle power to get them through the 200 and 500 metre races.
The regatta will also include events for community groups and juniors.
The action kicks off at Forster Keys from 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon and eight in the morning on Sunday.
