Rex Airlines has confirmed its route between Taree and Sydney will continue until at least 2017.
In recent years, rising fuel costs have raised concerns whether the route would be axed, but the company’s announced it’s secured the licence for another five years.
The airline has also renewed its licence for seven other regional routes, including Grafton to Sydney.
