WOOLGOOLGA HEADLAND ENHANCES VIEWS

The panoramic views from Woolgoolga headland will soon become a lot easier to access, with the construction of a new viewing platform now underway.
Members of Coffs Harbour council launched the beginning of works this morning, with the project set to be finished before the visitors flood in for Christmas.
“Being so close to the highway tourists can drive in, have a look, Woolgoolga uses that as part of their promotion for tourism – already this morning we’ve had whales out behind us, we’ve had a pod of dolphins in” said councillor, Bob Palmer.
The platform and surrounding pathways will form part of the Solitary Islands Coastal Walk once complete.
