Police are seeking witnesses after a female jogger was assaulted on the Gold Coast yesterday.
The 43-year-old was jogging in a park behind Castello Circuit in Varsity Lakes just after 8am, when she was grabbed by a man.
Police say he attempted to drag her into nearby bushes, but she managed to break free and escape.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance.
The woman sustained a minor injury to her wrist, and police are now appealing for anyone who may have been in the area, or has any information about the incident, to contact them immediately.
