WOMAN ENTERS GUILTY PLEA IN RIXON CASE

The two women charged with offences relating to the murder of highway patrol officer David Rixon fronted Tamworth Local Court today.
Monica Sampson appeared via audio video link, and pleaded guilty to charges of ‘hindering the discovery of evidence’ and ‘perverting the course of justice.’
She’ll be sentenced on November 19.
Meanwhile, Sharon Strudwick, whose charges also include hindering the discovery of evidence, will be arraigned in the district court on November 21.
