After months of speculation, 11 University of New England printery staff are likely to lose their jobs, after UNE officials deemed the service financially unviable.
The university hasn’t received any interest from parties willing to take on the printery, and it’s now likely to be closed by Christmas.
A preferred tenderer is expected to be chosen by the end of this week.
