The search to find a swimmer who vanished at Woolgoolga Beach on Saturday afternoon has wound down.
The 23-year-old Korean student is believed to have drowned after becoming caught in a rip shortly after 5.30.
An extensive sea and air search was conducted yesterday, but failed to find any trace of the body.
A shore-line search of the headland area resumed this morning, but has since been called off.
