A father of two has died after drowning at the Spit overnight.
It’s understood the 55-year-old returned to his houseboat the ‘Luckey One’ after a few drinks with mates.
His body was found washed up on shore this morning.
“Fell off and drowned, fell off asleep probably.”
“Do anything for anyone, just an unfortunate accident.”
Shocked family and friends could do little more than comfort each other at the news.
The death isn’t being treated as suspicious.
