A state government building in Newcastle will be sold off as part of a Coalition move to fund infrastructure for new housing developments.
The sale of the Bull Street property is part of a plan to sell nine buildings across New South Wales, and generate $300-million.
The office block is currently home to a number of public service departments, including ageing and disability, and education.
