Country Cups hero Southern Shimmer will look to add another to his impressive resume, with the gelding a likely favourite for tomorrow’s $80,000 Port Macquarie Cup.
But the Taree five-year-old will face a tougher field than what he experienced in the Dubbo and Lismore Cups, with the Gai Waterhouse trained Merensky Reef and local hope Falklands attracting plenty of interest.
