LOVING FATHER FAREWELLED

Friends and family of dock worker, Greg Fitzgibbon, killed while working in Newcastle Port,
have said their final goodbyes at a service at Adamstown.
The 56-year-old father of two was last week loading the Weaver Arrow, docked at the Eastern Basin, when a pallet of aluminium ingots fell on him.
Mr Fitzgibbon was today remembered as a man who loved his family, his job and his mates.
A minute’s silence was also held at every major port across the country in his honour.
