About 8.30am yesterday morning, a 9-year-old girl was riding her bike to school along Ferodale Road, Medowie, when a man approached her and stuck a stick through the spokes of her bike, causing her to stop.
The man then grabbed the girl and tried to force her into a nearby vehicle. The girl kicked and punched the man and was able to escape.
He’s described as Caucasian appearance, 25-30 years old, with short hair spiked in the middle. He called himself “Larry”.
The car was described as a black four wheel drive, with a lift suspension kit, and larger than normal tyres. A design of white skulls and red belly black snakes is painted down at least one side.
