For the first time in eight years, the New England Nomads have secured a Tamworth AFL Premiership.
A last ditch effort in the final quarter securing them a 26 point win over the Inverell Saints.
The teams were neck and neck but five goals in the final quarter was enough to get them over the line.
“We fought deep a few people few of the boys were starting to cramp up but they stuck to it and come away with the win which is good,” New England Nomads Captain Clint Ballard.
