Gunnedah is building on its reputation as a clean, green community.
Recent figures have shown, over the past 12 months, more than 6,000 tonnes of rubbish have been recycled by the town.
“Any rubbish that we can divert from landfill- save going into a hole in the ground and recycling is certainly a huge win for the environment,” Mayor Adam Marshall said.
