Taree road racer, Damian Cudlin, is within reach of securing the World Endurance Championship, after finishing second in round four in Germany.
The 29-year-old and his BMW team now trail series leader, Honda Legends from Britain, by 19 points.
Meanwhile, younger brother Alex Cudlin narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the same event, coming in fourth place.
