Gosford high school are hoping a couple of their chooks will get the blue ribbon at the Sydney Easter royal show.
Six students have taken up the Meat Bird Pairs competition – where they get to raise chickens over a six week period – primping them for this year’s show.
The competition will include over 65 schools from across the state – providing a ‘hands on’ approach to educate students about chicken farming practices in Australia.
