Tamworth will play host to some of the A-League’s finest when the Newcastle Jets and Brisbane Roar go head to head in a pre-season trial match.
“Hopefully the Jets see this as an opportunity to look for some up and coming players but also for the up and coming players of Tamworth to see this sport at its highest level in Australia,” Destination Tamworth’s Gavin Flanagan said.
It’s the first time in six years an A-League game has been played in Tamworth.
The clash will be held at Scully Park on the 1st of September.
