BROADMEADOW CLAIM STATE CUP IN COFFS HARBOUR

NORTHERN NSW STATE CUP
Grand Final
BROADMEADOW 4 – COFFS CITY 0

Broadmeadow has won the Northern New South Wales Football State Cup, beating Coffs City United in this afternoon’s final, thanks to goals from Chris Berlin, Scott Pettit and Luke Virgili.
Earlier in the day, the Magic beat fellow Hunter side Charlestown City 3-1 in the semis.
Locked at one-all at half time, a goal to Berlin and a double for Pettit helped Broadmeadow into the decider.
In the other game, Barnsley’s giant killing run came to an end at the hands of Coffs City.
Four different players found the back of the net for the home side.
