A man has suffered a laceration to his head, following an altercation in north Lismore early this morning.
Police say the victim was walking with a friend just before 2:30, when the pair was confronted by a man outside the Winsome Hotel.
During the incident, the victim was struck in the head with a bayonet.
“The offender was arrested at the scene and he will have charges preferred to him in relation to the incident”
