CENTRAL NORTH DUO EARN CORELLAS CALL UP

Despite not registering a win at yesterday’s New South Wales Country Women’s Rugby Championships in Forster, two Central North players earned higher honours.
Hooker Ellie Fordyce retained her Corellas jersey, while Rhiannon Byers impressed at inside centre.
A state junior sevens representative – she won New South Wales Country selection from her first attempt at 15-a-side matches.
They’ll take on a Sydney side in Wagga in two weeks.
Sarah Byrne and Shana Povey were also recognised for their performances, named as emergency reserves.
