If you fancy hot and spicy cuisine Sawtell’s Chilli Festival was the place to be today.
Thousands of food lovers flocked to the town’s main street for the annual event, which showcases chilli products from across the country.
There were chilli plants, beer and even chocolate – which was one of the most popular items for sale.
” the demand is crazy we come down from Queensland every year from the Lochear Valley, Murphy’s Creek and we bring down our chilli chocolate and we grow all the chillis on our farm organically and we bring the chocolate from Belgium.”
It was a perfect way to warm up on a chilly winter’s day.
