Several hazard reduction burns are taking place across the region.
The NSW Parks and Wildlife Service is conducting a fairly significant burn along Scout Camp Road at Dudley in the Glenrock State Conservation Area, while another is underway at Wagtail Close in Bonnells Bay.
More are planned across the region next week.
It comes as the Rural Fire Service prepares for the upcoming bushfire season.
