A woman in her 20’s has allegedly been caught speeding more than 50km/h over the limit, while four times over the legal blood-alcohol limit.
Police stopped the 22-year-old on Griffiths Road in Hamilton just before 1am today, after she had allegedly been recorded driving at 132km/h in a 70km/h zone
Police say she returned a positive roadside breath test and allegedly returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.203.
Her licence was suspended, and she was charged with high-range PCA, and exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
She is due to appear in Newcastle Local Court in March.
