Meanwhile, Taree’s TAFE campus is set to receive a new nursing and aged care training facility following yesterday’s budget announcement.
The works, due to be completed in 2015, will include a laboratory and training bathroom, a nursing station and classrooms.
$59-million has also been allocated for the completion of the Bulahdelah bypass and upgrades to a number of roads in the Taree and Great Lakes region.
