Councillor Lex Bell is hoping to be back at work next week after suffering a heart attack on the weekend.
The veteran politician says, despite his history, it came as a shock and he wouldn’t have contested the April elections if he had any health concerns.
The 66 year old councillor is recovering at Allamanda hospital.
