Coffs Harbour sub-contractors owed more than $600,000 by failed building company, St Hilliers, have finally been paid.
The State Government compensated the workers last night and today they were back on the Department of Housing site along Harbour Drive.
Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, says the project – which is almost completed – should be occupied by tenants within weeks.
” We now have a building that will be finished in weeks it will be habitable within a month and we have all our builders paid which to me is just fantastic.”
