A boy has been approached by a man while waiting for the school bus in Kariong.
A silver Ford Falcon Sedan stopped in front of the 13-year-old boy and the male driver signalled for the boy to come closer to the car.
The boy quickly ran home and told his father.
Police are wishing to speak to a man described as being 30-35 years old, with short black hair, blue eyes, with a goatee beard and tanned complexion.
