JEEP HITS RUTHERFORD HOUSE

A four-wheel-drive was wedged in the front wall of a house for several hours today, after a traffic mishap at Rutherford.
The vehicle left a slight bend on Fairfax Street at around midday, and careered through a garden into the house.
No one was injured, including an infant who was in the Jeep.
The crash caused significant structural damage to the house.
Rescue workers had to shore-up the property, before the vehicle could be removed.
