It’s no secret our hands carry millions of germs and today staff and visitors at Gosford Hospital got to see for themselves.
A special blue light machine was used to show up the nasties and how quickly they vanished after basic hand sanitation.
The device was used to spread the word ahead of tomorrow’s World Hand Hygiene Day.
The global campaign was launched by the World Health Organisation several years ago to improve hand hygiene amongst healthcare workers.
