CALLS FOR AIRPORT LANDING SYSTEM TO BE FAST TRACKED

Gold Coast Tourism boss Martin Winter is calling for an Airport Instrument Landing System to be fast-tracked for Coolangatta.

It comes after bad weather saw at least three passenger aircraft diverted from the coast yesterday.
