Police say a fire in Tamworth’s industrial area this morning appears to have been deliberately lit.
A plume of black smoke could be seen from Tamworth’s lookout at 6.30am, billowing from Taminda’s Hargrave Street.
Several plastic containers were set alight with remnants of fertiliser inside, requiring Hazmat to attend.
Damage is estimated to be worth around $15,000.
Anyone with information is urged to contact local police.
