The transformation of Taree’s old pool site into an outdoor performing arts space is almost complete.
With the Manning River as its backdrop, the new outdoor amphitheatre will host community plays and concerts.
The finishing touches will be made this week, including landscaping and the installation of park benches.
Sculptures by well-known local Aboriginal artist Russell Saunders are key features.
It’s the final stage of an extensive renovation of the site which began late last year.
