A woman has been critically injured in a car crash on Kooragang Island.
She suffered a head injury in the accident, near Tourle Street at around 1:00pm.
Paramedics are transporting her to John Hunter Hospital.
Cormorant Road and Teal Street have both re-opened, but traffic is slow and delays are expected.
UPDATE 4:30pm: A 25-year-old woman is in a stable condition at John Hunter Hospital.
