West Pymble FC’s top side has successfully defended its Nambucca Challenge Cup title with a thrilling 2-1 grand final victory over McLeay Valley Rangers this afternoon.
While in the Open women’s, the Corindi Breakers proved too strong defeating the Urunga Raiders with a convincing 2-nil win.
The Challenge Cup, is the north coast’s largest pre-season soccer competition, and is a major fundraiser for the Strikers.
This year it attracted 30 teams from across New South Wales and Southern Queensland.
