Charlestown Golf Course is marking its 40th birthday this week, teeing off celebrations with an Invitational Pro-Am.
The event’s highest profile group included local legends Neville Bell, Paul Robinson, Col Johnston and Jack Newton.
Charlestown has produced a number of the Hunter’s modern day professionals, including New Zealand Open winner, Jake Higginbottom.
