The coastline has been battered by blustery northerly winds for over a week now and they look like hanging around over the weekend.
Consequences of these conditions are small wind swell waves and cold water upwellings, sounds like summer to me!
Today’s pictures taken at Macauleys in Coffs Harbour around 11am were about as good as you could expect in the conditions. Some fun half metre right handers on the sets were helping relieve the frustation of the few surfers out.
