A man with an intellectual disability has been punched in the head and kicked, during a sickening overnight attack in Beaumont Street at Hamilton.
The 26-year-old was withdrawing cash at an ATM near the Tudor Street intersection, when he was approached by five young men wearing black hoodies.
They threatened the victim with knives, before attacking him and fleeing the scene.
Police are keen to speak with any witnesses.
