Wes Naiqama has been dropped to the Knights New South Wales Cup squad, as coach Wayne Bennett looks to shake up Newcastle’s NRL side.
The coach has named a 17-man team ahead of Saturday’s home game against the Cowboys.
The team will be without Joel Edwards, who receieved a one match suspension for a grade 1 dangerous throw.
