The SES is holding a free flood safety education evening for businesses at the Lismore Workers Club tonight.
“Tonight we’ll have an introduction to the SES and our role and the Council’s role when the flood occurs. We’ll also talk about the risks and the triggers to flooding.”
Ways to minimise the impact of flooding will also be looked at through the use of the FloodSafe toolkit.
“It’s really fantastic, friendly and innovative and all businesses can customise their flood safe plans.”
The seminar runs from 6:30 until 8 o’clock.
