Glen Innes Severn Council has received a major funding boost…a $2 million loan from the New South Wales Treasury Corporation.
It’s one of 12 Councils judged as ‘Fit for the Future’ by the State Government last year to secure the cash injection.
The money will be used to build a fire control centre for the Rural Fire Service, and purchase a property to develop a quarry.
The loan will be paid pack over 20 years.
