The 2012 Port Macquarie Eisteddfod is proving to be one of the biggest in recent years, attracting Powderfinger guitarist, Darren Middleton as a mentor and adjudicator.
Infant and primary choirs and bands competed today, with performances including classics like ‘What a Wonderful World’.
“The standards are amazing for our local kids, they must have, they absolutely do have incredible teachers who are training them to such high levels and we’re getting such great feedback from the adjudicator.”
For the first time in the event’s history, a rock concert will be held on Saturday night, and the winner will come away with studio recording time.
