RAIN EVENT ON TRACK FOR NORTHERN NEW SOUTH WALES

The best rain in months is still on track fall in northern New South Wales. The coastal showers and partly cloudy skies will ease. The moist onshore winds are going to help feed the deepening trough over western QLD. This system will form into a low and dump widespread rain across the region. Beginning in the North West on Saturday before spreading further east on Sunday. Falls should be solid. An east coast low is then expected to form and could cause more heavy falls and strong winds for the Hunter while increasing the swell.
