The Maitland Harness Racing Club is holding out hope of a return to regular TAB meetings.
It’s been six years since the sport’s governing body stripped the club of all bar one of its race dates, as part of industry-wide changes.
But thanks to a recent review, the club will hold a six-race meeting on Sunday and another next month, on top of its prized inner-city pace.
