Premier Barry O’Farrell says his government is working on a solution after the collapse of the Perle Construction company, which left as many as sixty Coffs Harbour sub contractors out of pocket.
When work was halted on a multi-million dollar government housing project, tradesman were still owed more than $1.6-million.
” we are trying to work through it with the Minister for Finance and Services for those issues, they are tough issues left to us by the former government there are no magic wands in government resolving issues takes time we’re determined though to get through these issues we’re determined to find resolution.”
