North coast teachers joined colleagues across the state in walking off the job this morning.
They met for two hours in various locations, voting to reject the 2.5 per cent pay rise offered by the state government.
While some parents were put out by the stop work meeting, other showed their support for the cause.
“They deserve to be paid for what they do and a good pay at that.”
